Seller and payment handling

The purchase of Tyll is handled by Paddle as authorised reseller and Merchant of Record. The purchase contract for acquiring the software is concluded with the Paddle entity named in Paddle checkout.

Paddle handles checkout, payment, invoicing, VAT or sales tax, purchase-related support, withdrawal and refunds. We are the developer, software provider and licensor of Tyll; our product-specific terms are in our terms and conditions.

Statutory withdrawal right for consumers

Consumers generally have a statutory right of withdrawal. The withdrawal period is usually 14 days from conclusion of the contract. Paddle is responsible as seller for withdrawal information, withdrawal requests and reimbursement; the information shown in checkout, the Paddle Buyer Terms and the Paddle Refund Policy apply.

Tyll is provided as digital content without a physical medium. The withdrawal right may end early if, before the withdrawal period expires, you expressly consent to immediate delivery, confirm that you thereby lose your withdrawal right, and that consent and confirmation are provided to you on a durable medium. Where download or license access is provided immediately, Paddle collects these declarations in checkout; the statutory requirements remain decisive.

If these statutory requirements are not met, your withdrawal right remains available under statutory law. Statutory warranty rights and other mandatory consumer rights always remain unaffected.

Voluntary refunds and technical issues

Voluntary refunds outside mandatory statutory rights are reviewed by Paddle under the Paddle Refund Policy and the terms included in checkout. Submitting a request within a period mentioned there does not guarantee a refund unless Paddle or mandatory law provides otherwise.

If Tyll cannot be used after a completed purchase because download, license delivery or activation does not work, please contact us at [email protected] or through the contact form. We will investigate the product issue and try to resolve it. If it cannot be resolved, Paddle may need the information to review the refund request.

How to request a refund

For purchase-related refunds and withdrawal, please use one of these Paddle channels:

• the “View receipt” or “Manage subscription” link in your Paddle order confirmation,
• the support link in your Paddle receipt or Paddle customer area,
• Paddle support at paddle.net and the “Request refund” option.

Where possible, keep your Paddle order number and the email address used for purchase ready. Product or license questions can also be sent to [email protected].

Effect of a refund

If you validly withdraw, Paddle reverses the purchase or Paddle grants a refund, the related Tyll license ends. We may deactivate the license; you may no longer use Tyll or make it available to third parties and must delete or make unusable the license key and activation-related local copies to the extent legally permitted, possible and reasonable.

This does not apply where mandatory statutory rights require otherwise.

No expansion of statutory rights

This policy describes the process for Tyll purchases through Paddle. It does not restrict statutory rights, but it also does not expand statutory rights beyond what is expressly promised in Paddle checkout, the Paddle Refund Policy or our terms and conditions.
