Dictation
Speak.
Don't type.
Press your shortcut, speak, let go – the text appears right where you're writing. In Mail, Notes, chat or a document. No extra window, no web page, no cloud.

Slot 3 —
How it feels
Three seconds,
from thought to cursor.
01 / 03
Press the shortcut
A shortcut of your choice opens the small Tyll window – from anywhere, whatever app you're in.
02 / 03
Speak
A subtle indicator shows Tyll is listening. Your own terms and names are spelled correctly automatically.
03 / 03
Get the text
The moment you let go, your speech is turned into text on your Mac and dropped straight in – or held in the window if the app won't take direct input.
Three slots, that's it
No archive,
no database.
Dictation is deliberately fleeting: your last three takes stay in the window, you copy them out, new ones replace old ones. There's no list to ever tidy up.
- No read-along while you speak – one clean result when you let go
- Contents live in memory only, nothing is saved
- Teach your own terms once, per language – then they stick
- Inserts directly – or copies it for you if the app won't take input
